Lubaga Hospital together with Malteser International participated for the holistic development of an Emergency Medical Services (EMS) system for Kasese District which was affected by flash floods claiming lives & property and for training the health workers and the ambulance service providers to effectively respond to emergencies.

Lubaga Hospital celebrated staff birthdays for those born in months March, April and May by cutting cake on Thursday 25th Jun 2020.
Hospital Management in collaboration with Malteser International organised an awareness training about physiotherapy to staff. The training was conducted at hospital from 22nd Jun – 26th Jun 2020.
Pregnant mothers were given delivery kits for the preparation of birth. Also, equipment for promotion of domiciliary care was donated and donated to Lubaga Hospital.
On 4th June 2020 Ministry of Health officials conducted a training to the staff of Lubaga Hospital. The training wasto raise awareness on HIV Testing Eligibility screening tool for children and adholescents with unknown HIV status from the ages 18months to 14yrs.
